When you later choose to scale to bigger trays or tables you have already acquired some important tricks without having to work with big volumes.
Work on a flat, clean surface; preferably at 20-25 °C. Wear gloves and have good ventilation.
Combine resin and hardener in the appropriate proportion (e.g. 2:1 in volumes). Use clean measuring cups.
Gently stir 2-3minutes, scraping the cup sides and bottom, so that there are no excessive bubbles of air introduced.
When you are using them and combine until homogeneous.
Allow the resin to self-level. Since the amount is not large, it will be convenient to keep track of it.
Heat gun or torch: This should be done carefully in a matter of a few seconds over the surface to remove bubbles. Keep the gun moving.
Let it dry: to touch-dry, about 24-48 hours; and to full hard, about 72 hours (with temperature). Then take out of mould, rub a little sand (when necessary) and polish.
